Sisters MICM record their new Hail Mary CD

Recently the Sisters recorded a collection of 15 of their favorite songs and hymns to Our Lady ~ and they are now available on a new CD entitled: “Hail Mary” ~ which is available at our Gift Shop for $14.

Sung completely acapella by the Sisters MICM, these songs reflect the love they have for the pure and simple beauty of humble maid that was chosen to be the Mother of God! As Saint Bernard once said: “Of Mary there is never enough!”

The booklet in the CD case has all the words and translations… so you can raise your minds and hearts to Heaven and pray along with these loving hymns. Ave Maria!

December 8th: Final Vows

On the feast of the Immaculate Conception, December 8, 2021, Sister Mary Jacinta Brizek and Sister Maria Faustina Hannon made their Profession of Final Vows.

The simple ceremony of Final Profession takes place fittingly at the Offertory of the Mass. Uniting their sacrifice with that of the Lamb of God, these young Sisters recited their vows with determined voices for all to hear. After signing them on the Altar, they received the black veil and crown of white roses symbolic of their eternal espousals. They also received the candle of the light of Christ which was lit from the victorious Pascal Candle.

The unblemished beauty of the feast of the Immaculate Conception was the perfect backdrop for this lovely event. All were welcomed for cake following the ceremony. Members of the Brizek Family from New Jersey, and the Hannon family, who traveled from Louisiana, joined the MICM community for a special luncheon on this momentous occasion. Please keep the newly professed Brides of Christ in your prayers!

Build Your Spiritual Christmas Crib!

Build a Spriritual Christmas Crib in your heart to prepare for the birth of Christ!

Written by Fr. Frederic Nelson, the “Spiritual Christmas Crib” gives a practice and prayer for each day of December until Christmas. Each day is a part of the stable that you prepare by practicing the suggested exercise and reciting the prayer as often as you can throughout the day.

The Sisters love this devotion so much that we make a version you can buy for your home… but we also wanted to share each day in a video form as found below! These videos were made for Advent of 2020, and were posted originally on our facebook page.

Enjoy this perfect Advent activity with your whole family … and the Sisters too! Come Lord Jesus!

The Glory of Autumn

The autumn months are quickly coming to a close here in Massachusetts… but it has truly been a beautiful one! The glory of the vibrant foliage always raises our minds and hearts to God! Enjoy a few photos of the foliage from Fall 2021 here at the monastery in the photos below.

“Question the beauty of earth… question the beauty of sea… question the beauty of sky… All respond: “See, we are beautiful.” Who made them but the Beautiful One?” ~Saint Augustine

Morning Star Indiana

During the month of October, 2021, three Sisters took Morning Star Camp on the road and traveled to Fort Wayne, Indiana for a mini-camp.

Hosted by Sacred Heart Parish, the Sisters brought the Marian spirit of the camp to about twenty-five girls from the area. A concentrated approach to our broader camp program, the weekend schedule included everything from daily Mass and Benediction to crafts, sports, and singing.

Although our official camp season is long over for the year, it was an added bonus to squeeze in one more for this energetic group! Everyone had a great time, and we look forward to returning again in the future. Special thanks to all who helped make this event possible! May Our Lady Morning Star guide and bless all her campers!
