After the Sung Mass in honor of Our Lady’s Nativity, the Sisters, Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, received two young ladies, Amellia Marks and Sarah Sankel, as postulants. The six months of the postulancy are a prelude to the Novitiate, offering a time of serious discernment while living the life of a Slave of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in community. Amellia, from Louisiana, and Sarah, from New Jersey, have both been Morning Star Campers and Counselors.

Please pray for them as they begin their journey in religious life and for perseverance!

“The harvest indeed is great, but the laborers are few. Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He send laborers into His harvest.” (Luke 10:2)
