The feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is always a joyful celebration at our monastery. This year, however, the occasion was marked with even greater solemnity as we celebrated the 50th Anniversary of our monastery and community here at Saint Benedict Center!

During the Sung Mass for the feast, Sister Mary Anne, MICM, made her Final Profession of Vows. It is fitting that this ceremony takes place at the Offertory of the Mass. With heartfelt conviction, Sister pronounced her vows and signed them on the altar, after which she received a crown of white roses—a symbol of her spiritual nuptials. It is a beautiful and moving way to adorn the new Bride of Christ.

Sister Mary Anne’s two sisters and her brother-in-law traveled all the way from Singapore to attend the ceremony! May God continue to bless Sister Mary Anne, MICM. Ad multos annos!
